VEGAN 2017: The Film
Here are my thoughts on watching Vegan 2017, The Film by Plant Based News…
Plant Based News recently came out with their annual VEGAN documentary, focusing on the changes and progress veganism has made throughout the year. The film also highlights some of the controversy that veganism has faced this year and includes interviews with professionals, advocates and includes clips from high profile vegans (some of which I had no idea were even vegan!).
This is my first time watching a Plant Based News documentary. I went vegan in May 2017 and have since been slowly changing my diet and lifestyle in order to be completely cruelty-free. I’ve watched a ton of plant based documentaries in the past though, but I particularly like how this one focused just on 2017.
I found that this documentary did a really good job with being both informative and inspiring. I knew almost everything I heard in the film from past documentaries and from just being aware of the news in the vegan community this year. BUT I think the best part about watching it was leaving and feeling so inspired to do more. I think everyone who’s curious about veganism/plant based/cruelty-free lifestyle should watch this film and see all of the progress the vegan community has made in just one year! and sadly, see all of the annoying things we have had to deal with, regarding ignorance.
I challenge you to, watch the film if you haven’t already, it’s only about 45mins long, and to share it with your friends and family.
If you did watch it, let me know what you thought!
